March Mayhem

At the begining of March I was all prepared for my stall at The Saffron Markets on a Tuesday & Wednesday in St Ives Guildhall for the summer season. My workshops on a Tuesday evening in Krowji (where my studio is based) were booked until the end of May and I had lots of Saturday workshops arranged with The Craft Collective Shop in Redruth. Things were looking good for the coming year.

Slowly over the coming days it became more obvious that the Coronavirus had reached England, and things were changing. Mid March my daughter's music school in Manchester had closed down due to a teacher having suspected Covid-19, on the way home from collecting her and all her stuff it soon became clear that Niamh was not very well, high temperature and a consistent dry cough, no sneezing. The rest of March was spent in isolation!
